	A more common view of the entrance to the Prague Castle shows only the entrance into the Castle (see the next panoramic picture). This view shows the entire square.
	These days, the Prague Castle (or, in Czech: Hradcany) is assaulted by hordes of tourists. In the past, the Castle was assaulted by various other types of hordes. There was no "cute" square, as in this picture. Instead, there were three wide and deep moats. The entrance into the Castle was via drawbridges over the moats.
	Maria Theresa, in 1757, did some "remodeling". She thought the moats were ugly and ordered them filled in, thus creating the present "cute" square. (What can I say, women... Us, guys, would have rather kept the old moats and climbed our way into the castle...)

We clean each record carefully, and use only the finest quality cartridges. We use the minimum amount of forces that will ensure optimum playback and preserve the disk. The record is played only one time. Although we can not control how the records are handled while in transit, we have not had any negative reports. Can you guarantee that you will eliminate every single pop from LP or 78rpm recordings?

Answer:

	No. There are many thousands of pops and clicks on each recording. When we restore a record we have to decide how severe the pops and clicks are, and how much correction to apply to the music. On a recording that is otherwise good, except for a few pops, we prefer to apply less correction in order to preserve the liveliness of the music. This is explained on our Web site on our Noise Reduction Philosophy page.
	The budget for the restoration, at the consumer price level, is $10 (see our published prices, a "transfer only" is $19.95, a "sound restoration" is $29.95). "Hand removal" of pops and clicks is not possible at this price level. If you know that certain songs/tracks require extra restoration work, please select additional "Individual Restoration Units" (at $9.95 each).
