	I arrived at this lake from a long trek through the jungle. After several hours of walking through the thick jungle (which can get a bit claustrophobic at times), quite suddenly and unexpectedly, the view opens. A very welcome change!
	This pond is the essence of serenity, peace and calm. Even without knowing that the pond belongs to the temple, it provides a religious experience. What a perfect place to take a break, meditate, cleanse your thoughts and your soul.
	The two shrines in the middle of the pond are for the goddess of Danau Tamblingan and for the god Gunung Batukaru. This duality is important for the Balinese culture, as it represents the concept of rwa bhineda *(cosmic duality), the Balinese equivalent of yin* and yang in the Chinese philosophy.**

Can you guarantee that you will eliminate every single pop from LP or 78rpm recordings?

Answer:

	No. There are many thousands of pops and clicks on each recording. When we restore a record we have to decide how severe the pops and clicks are, and how much correction to apply to the music. On a recording that is otherwise good, except for a few pops, we prefer to apply less correction in order to preserve the liveliness of the music. This is explained on our Web site on our Noise Reduction Philosophy page.
	The budget for the restoration, at the consumer price level, is $10 (see our published prices, a "transfer only" is $19.95, a "sound restoration" is $29.95). "Hand removal" of pops and clicks is not possible at this price level. If you know that certain songs/tracks require extra restoration work, please select additional "Individual Restoration Units" (at $9.95 each).
