Pura Luhur Batukaru - Temple; large image

	There is some confusion about the name Batukaru. Guides and maps refer to this name as Batukau. However, the natives pronounce the name with a very distinct (and rolled) R. I asked the natives about Batukau, they never heard of it. But they all know about BatukaRu.
	We saw a view of the pond. This is the temple.
	This was the ancestral temple for the royal family of Tabanan, whose descendants still maintain the temple today.
	This temple is quite isolated, but worshippers still come from afar with offerings.
