"Manhattan of the Middle Ages", San Gimignano is full of skyscrapers.
|
At one time, San Gimignano had more than 70 towers. These were built by the wealthiest families for protection in case of unrest. Of course, you didn't want your friends to look at you and tell you: "you have a small . . . tower", so you would overcompensate and build a bigger tower. And the towers grew taller, and taller, and taller. . .
|
The Virtual Reality movie is neat, makes you think you're there. Of course, the full size/full resolution version shows everything even larger. |

| Question: | My family recorded a few records back in the 50's. I still have them , but I can not play them back. Is there any way I can still hear them? |
| Answer: | There are 2 companies that can transfer your "home made records" to CD:
|
| Question: | I would like to send a video tape to my friends in Europe, but they use a different television format (PAL) and can not play it back. What can I do? |
| Answer: | Send the American (NTSC) tape to AVConvert.com (see below). You will get back your original video tape, and a tape in the PAL format that you can send to your
friends in Europe (in PAL).
However, these days nobody transfers videos to tape anymore. It's better to have your video transferred directly to DVD. See http://avconvert.com/dvd |
