Here is another beautiful spot, on the edge of the Great Rift Valley: a watering hole. | |
|
This is on the bottom of the Rift Valley (the cliff is behind the photographer, see a corner in the left). One of the benefits of living at the bottom of the Rift Valley is water: what is an aquifer deep inside the ground on the "high" side of the Rift Valley, is a stream on the "low" side of the valley. This is another "happy" place, with water all year round. It is the home of a village of very happy and welcoming people. I was privileged to be taken around the village by the kind people of the village. They showed me "The Lake". This is the source of their entire existence. |
